At NorthStar we believe that a Church is NOT the building. It’s the people who make the church and it’s the people’s actions that mean the most. That’s why you’ll find our people outside the church walls, in the community, making a difference.

Opportunities:

Local

• Hope Alive – Located on 13 beautiful acres, Hope Alive serves homeless women and children
• Families – this varies from day to day but we take care of families not only within the NorthStar family but others in our neighborhoods who are hurting and need help

Regional

• From Hurricane Katrina in the Gulf Coast to the collapse of a Minnesota Bridge, NorthStar’s people show compassion and support to people in need

International

• Hope of Life – serves the people of Guatemala by building schools, homes, orphanages, churches and distributes food, computers, clothing, furniture 
• Disaster relief, such as helping with the Tsunami victims
